Retreat Space
Our traditional Lithuanian home is situated on 6 hectares of private land, surrounded by nature, forest and a private lake. This country house has won several awards as the most beautiful and cared after country house in the whole of Lithuania.
Picture yourself under the starry night sky, breathing in fresh air, and listening to the sounds of nature.
The country house has a private lake with a charming little island, plenty of space to walk around, a Japanese-style waterfall, a Moon board (bouldering wall), and an observation tower to watch the sunset.
A range of communal spaces, include hammocks, a dining area with a wood burner for us all to gather, a communal kitchen to prepare coffee & tea, a glass house to read a book or journal, and many other chill-out areas.
Plenty of space for connection, exploration and introspection.
The whole property will be solely rented out for our retreat group ensuring privacy and exclusivity.
Yoga Classes
In total there will be around 11 hours of practices and workshops with two teachers. Expect to playfully challenge yourself, explore the movement of the body, the breath as well as learn something new every day! Morning yoga practices will be more dynamic and energising (flow style), evening practices more gentle and calm. We will also enjoy one afternoon movement exploration workshop, that is inspired by animal flow, contemporary dance and movement culture.
Who are the instructors?
Ieva Luna - the founder and host of Moonlight Yoga Retreats, a passionate climber and movement enthusiast. Ieva received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate in India and was deepening her yoga practice in Indonesia and China for several years. Additionally, Ieva has completed a Yin Yoga + Acupressure teacher training course, 'Yoga as a therapy for Back Problems', Contemporary Yoga Flow training with A. Hocke and A. Husler as well as various workshops with Jenni Rawlings from Shoulder and Hip Applied Anatomy to Nervous System and Pain Science. Ieva completed her 300 hour yoga teacher training certificate with Jules Mitchell in Biomechanics, Pain science and nervous system. Ieva is also a certified CBT practitioner as well as had attended various courses on Non Violent Communication.
Ieva currently is taking part in a prenatal yoga teacher training.
Her intention is to create a welcoming, supportive and nourishing space during the retreat where everybody could feel comfortable and at ease.
A home away from home.
This marks the fifth time Olive is joining as a co-teacher on a retreat! And I'm very excited for you to experience their teachings in Lithuania.
Olive has always been heavily involved in sport and movement from a young age, and their natural curiosity with the human body has led them to personally explore and to coach various types of movement over the years.
After attaining a BSc in Psychology, they went on to complete their 200 hours in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga in India before sharing their teaching all over Brighton. The follow years found them also attaining their Level 1 Animal Flow training, a CPD for Yoga Teachers with Dan Morgan and Davin Jones, their Level 3 Personal Training Certificate, 30 hours Yoga Nidra training, 100 hours in Fierce Grace Yoga in New York and most recently 30 hours in Yin Yoga. They also share mobility and handstand practices, based on years of study and research on themselves.
All of the above, combined with teaching a whole range of individuals over the years, has created a nurturing, encouraging and playful environment in which movement is explored. By pulling on various modalities, Olive aims to empower their student’s both in body and mind.
During the retreat you will enjoy 4x90min practices with Olive.
Sauna ritual 'the four seasons' with Lukas
'The Four Seasons' sauna ritual is an immersive 3 hour experience with a sauna master Lukas that takes you on a journey through the changing seasons.
This ritual involves four rounds of sauna, each representing a different season of the year, along with accompanying natural treatments and activities. From natural body scrub to a honey body mask (from local bees that live in this country house!) and bathing birch made from the trees of Lithuania - this unique experience is one that should not be missed.
The Four Seasons sauna ritual was one of the standout moments of the last two Lithuanian retreats, with many participants stating that they would return to Lithuania just for the opportunity to partake in this ritual once again.

Reviews from our last retreat in Lithuania
"I have been to two retreats Ieva organised and held so far, her attention to details, her organisation and level of hospitality is outstanding. Regardless of your level of yoga she is very knowledgable about the body and it´s muscular functions and it sure does not hurt that she is a fun person as well. You can feel she loves to host and share her knowledge. I can highly recommend her teachings and her retreats who are a great combination of learning, calming down and spoiling yourself in beautiful surroundings and with great food."
"Ieva's retreat in Lithuania was, quite honestly, pretty life-changing for me. It gave me the opportunity to completely detach and to start some healing. Ieva created an environment that felt like a huge warm hug in my life with space to be however you need to be and permission to experience things the way you need to experience them. I could not recommend it more. Thank you Ieva."
